Wanted: Cheap laptop for soon-to-be college student

Hey everyone. I'm about to graduate highschool and I am going to college in the fall. I've been looking for a laptop to take to school.
However, situations are not the best right now and money is tight (both for me and my parents). That is why I am looking here.
I'm looking for anyone that possibly has a cheap laptop they would be willing to get rid of for very cheap. Even if it needs a little work, I am still interested.
Basically the computer will only be used to type up school papers, surf the internet, and occasionally listen to music.
